Labelink Acquires l’Empreinte, Expanding into Folding Cartons, Cut-Sheet Labels, Direct Mail, and Publishing

MONTRÉAL, September 8, 2025 — Labelink, a North American printer with 9 plants in Canada and the United States, announces the acquisition of l’Empreinte, one of the largest privately owned printing companies in the province of Quebec, Canada. Founded in 1986 and based in Laval, l’Empreinte employs 110 people and has earned a strong reputation for the quality of its print and packaging solutions.

This acquisition, the 15th in 21 years, is part of Labelink’s strategy to build a network of specialized printing and packaging centres. L’Empreinte’s expertise in publishing, marketing, direct mail, folding cartons, and cut-sheet labels complements Labelink’s strengths in pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, and flexible packaging. Together, the two companies will deliver a broader, fully integrated portfolio of high-value solutions, creating new opportunities for sustainable growth and elevating the customer experience across all markets.
